What age is this for?

We have run this event for many years now and we find that generally it's children of primary school age in attendance (5-10). Of course younger children are more than welcome to attend but we ask that a parent or guardian stay with them on the dance floor to prevent any accidental bumps with bigger children.

 

Can I leave my child and come back later?

No, all children must be supervised in the hall at all times by their parent or guardian.

 

Tell me about the gift?

We ask all parents/guardians to provide a small gift, no more than £10 in value, for Santa to give out, we have found this way each child receives something suitable for themselves and of similar quality. We have found a growth in parcel sizes in the last couple of years and so are asking now for the parcels to be no bigger than shoe box size or A4 paper size (for books).

We kindly ask you to SECRETLY (black plastic sacks are a great disguise!) drop off the gift at the check-in point located in the main bar, this is avoid spoiling the suprise when Santa hands them out at approx 5.30pm.

Please write FIRST AND SURNAME on the parcel, as there are frequently two children with the same first name (no swing tags please, they fall off in the sacks!)

Please note: we split the parcels up into approx 5 sacks, we do not keep same family parcels together, once we have put the parcels into the sacks, it can be very difficult to locate your parcel and so you will need to wait whilst santa gives the parcels out.

 

Tell me about the food?

This year, we will be serving chicken nuggets and fries, plus a sweet treat and a drink to each child.

Please talk to the staff at least 48 hours before the event if there are any food intolerences that we should know about for your child.
